At Capital Dwelling, we believe backyards are an untapped resource, full of potential to create additional living space, increase property value, and enhance everyday life.
With this in mind, our founders, two Georgetown University graduates with degrees in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development, recognized how Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and backyard structures have transformed homes and neighborhoods across the West Coast. At the same time, with land at a premium and space often limited in the DMV area, they set out to help homeowners unlock these same opportunities.
Because they were born and raised in the DC region, we understand the unique challenges and regulations that come with building in this area.
